Eurofest 2010 - Organized by CSEPS and Students Organization will meet the BGU students and Campus visitors with about a dozen events dedicated to Europe, European cinema and culture. Cheese & wine eve, Infofair on European education, "Stars night" for children, about 15 European movies and more...

January 4, 2010 - Dr. Sharon Pardo and Dr. Joel Peters, the authors, officially launched their new book on European-Israeli relations. The book-launch event was held in "Rotem Hall" at Ben Gurion University Campus with participation of the BGU Rector Prof. Jimmy Weinblatt, renown economist Dr. Nellie Munin, Dr. Lior Zemer from IDC Herzeliya and Dr. Shlomo Shapiro from Bar-Ilan University. The meeting became a symposium on current developments in field of European Studies in Israel and of course EU-Israel relations

Prof. Renée Poznanski teaches this year a new seminar on French Political Culture opened for BA students at the Department of Politics and Government at BGU. As a part of the course she organized a series of meetings with important specialists in this field from France.

Jan Figel, the European Commissioner for Education and Youth visited the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in July 2008. This is the first time ever EU official visits Israeli University

Happening Europa is an annual event, which held by CSEPS since 2004. Its main issue is the European Education Exhibition an Gathering aimed to arase student's interest in educational opportunities in Europe. The representatives from up to 25 European countries come each year to promote and to show their national higher education institutions and travelling beauties of their countries
