"Café Europa" - is the unique activity developed and held by CSEPS. During the last two years about a dozen lively discussions took place at BGU Campus bringing some taste of European culture and atmosphere to the students.
The opening event of EUROFEST 2010 – “Cheese & Wine Eve” highlighted the all the activities of the annual European Festival in BGU. This truly European cultural gathering smashed a happy smile on the faces of participants
The last "Cafe Europa" meeting for 2009-10 academic year - Juan Gonzalez Barba - Deputy Spanish Ambassador to Israel came to Beer-Sheva in order to present his new book to BGU students. The book named "El Corresponsal en Oriente Medio" (The Middle-Eastern Correspondent) is his first novel, in which he mixed the reality, appearances of his diplomatic career and a conspiratorial universe of the possible scenarios in Middle-Eastern future developments.
For the second time CSEPS organized "European Chocolate Eve" in BGU Campus within "Cafe Europa" framework. This was really exciting and sweet meeting coloured with quality chocolate and nice humour.
Eldad - the first Israeli journalist to visit Muslim states most of them consider Israel as an enemy. On October 27, 2009, Mr. Beck came to BGU Campus to present his new book – “Across the border”
One of the most experienced experts in the field of Beer culture - Sagi Cooper gave an extraordinary interesting lecture about the European beer culture to BGU students at "Aroma" coffeehouse on one of the nice whethered May eves. An exciting lecture was flavoured with various beer trademarks from all over the Europe.
The Centre for the Study of the European Politics and Society invited the wellknown Nazi hunter Dr. Efraim Zuroff to participate in it's project "Cafe Europa" and to tell to BGU students about his 28 years experience of bringing to justice and prosecution of the Holocaust perpetrators
